In addition to her design talents, Laurie also authored, “Mastering the Art of Fabric Printing and Design,” published in March by Chronicle Books. This will be followed by her new book on fabric embellishing to be published by Interweave.

Laurie has had an extensive career in advertising and marketing in both Manhattan and Austin, Texas. Now residing in the capital of the Lone Star State, Laurie devotes her time to creating new and colorful designs of modern whimsy.

Artist and author, Laurie Wisbrun will exhibit at Surtex 2011 in New York, 5/15-5/17/11

Austin, Texas - March 24, 2011: Energized by the momentous growth and success of the last year, Laurie Wisbrun is optimistic about showcasing her new collections of playful and stylish art at Surtex 2011.
